Heylo again everyone. I have a little something to show you. Today out of sheer boredom I decided to take some RAM out of my old Dell Inspiron 1501 and add it to my Hannspree Hannsnote. I have a picture or two for those who dont know where the RAM slots are on the Hannsnote and where some other parts are on it. Enjoy

So to open the bottom you have to remove all the screws. In this picture I circled all them for you. NOTE** When you take off the bottom the entire bottom comes off, which can be quite tricky to do especially around the vga area. SO make sure you pry it off gently using a small flat head screwdriver and push it past the vga connector so the bottom doesn’t get caught as it comes off.

So once you have it open it should look something like the next picture. I also have the next picture labeled for you so that you know where some of the important parts are. NOTE** I guessed on the location of the cpu, please correct and contact me if i am wrong.

FINAL NOTE** The RAM stick in there now, the blue chip with 4 mini chips and a sticker on it, doesn’t come standard, that is the RAM i put in.
