Hey Everyone, I guess its time for me to explain my stand on the apple vs microsoft controversy. This will most likely be quite a long post so this is all I will be posting for today. So without further adieu, here we go. I feel that both companies are great and important figures in the world of technology. Both originated from each other and both share many things in common. This is why I feel why people who tend to use Apple products more despise Microsoft, and why generally Microsoft product users tend to hate Apple. The discussion about Linux user will come in the future.

Personally, I am a Windows kind of guy although I do own an iPod touch. I would love to own a Mac, but sadly, I don’t have sufficient funds for one. Now the main reason i started this post is to address why Apple users hate Microsoft, and why Microsoft users hate Apple. Keep in mind im generalizing so please dont take offense. And now, we begin…

So Apple is better ay? I strongly disagree. Macs never get virus’? I disagree even more. Steve Jobs is cooler then Bill Gates? Maybe I agree a little bit. Well lets start with the first argument. Apple, by no means whatsoever, is better. The reason why their systems run smoother is by this reason alone, Apple makes their own hardware AND software. For instance, you cant run OSX (Apple’s Operating System) on a Hp, Dell, Asus, Acer, Toshiba, etc…unless you hackintosh which is an entire different story. And by the way, hackintoshing (new word), is absolutely not the easiest thing in the world to do. Anyway, OSX runs sooooo smooth on Macs becuase IT WAS BUILT TO!! And sometimes it doesn’t even work the way it should. Microsoft on the other hand has to make an operating system to fit the needs of every other computer made my companies such as Hp, and the rest mentioned above. So of course the hardware might not always work together, but there are many simple ways to go about fixing it and its easy to get into the inner workings and resolve the issue.

The next topic about Macs never getting virus’ is also extremely incorrect for too many reasons to explain, I will most likely cover this in another post.

And finally, Steve Jobs being cooler then Bill Gates? You tell me
