Hey everyone! While reading some recent news I came across the latest updates in the topic about the high school in Philadelphia that used a students webcam to “spy” on him from home. It turns out, after the FBI became involved, that the school has done this 42 times over the past 2 years! The FBI is looking to what exactly happened and is trying to figure out whether or not any wiretapping or computer-privacy laws were broken. In the schools defense, they say they only did this to retrieve lost or stolen laptops, but do you remember the photo the school used against one of the students? This one piece of evidence shows that maybe the school was up to something a tad shady. Check this link for the original post from Gizmodo. So once again I ask, was this the right or wrong thing for the school to do? What do you think the end result will be? Email me at dwoftim@gmail.com or @ me on twitter @dwoftim
