Hey folks! Today, while browsing though my rss feed, I can across this story from engadget. Apparently by 2012, if the world doesn’t end (hopefully it won’t), 400 pre-schools in South Korea will be equipped with robot teachers. That’s right everyone, the age of robots are upon us. It is said that these robot teachers won’t actually run the class but provide assistance in lecturing and may also be a way for the children/students to communicate with their family’s at home through a simulated human. So I actually think this is a great idea and wish this would be rolled out in schools here in the US. *cough* text in class *cough* To read the story from engadget click here.
